With the acquisition of the Tradova group, TLW Group becomes one of the leaders in heavy goods road transport in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.
TLW Group, a key Luxembourg player in the transport of general merchandise, general cargo, RFS, groupage, bulk, express and logistics, is accelerating its growth strategy by announcing the takeover of the Tradova group, based in Luxembourg and Belgium.
Expanding in the Benelux
In the heavy goods road transport sector in Luxembourg, where the vast majority of companies have less than 20 employees, the group now has a total of over 300 employees and 530 logbooks.
Thanks to this new acquisition, TLW Group, founded in 2005, is strengthening its general cargo operations and for the first time, will have a base in Belgium.
‘Meeting Dominique ‘s Heeren (founder of Tradova) was definitely a great moment for me. He’s an expert in general cargo transport with over 40 years of experience, but above all he’s someone of great worth, both at a professional and personal level. His vision, professionalism and career convinced me from the day we met’ explains Jérémy Windsinger, CEO of TLW Group.
A win-win takeover for the two entities
‘The aim of this buyout is clear: it allows TLW Group to continue developing the general cargo market, while allowing the Tradova group to take advantage of TLW Group’s tools and processes, in order to continue providing the best service in terms of quality and responsiveness, for a very demanding customer base’ continues Mr Windsinger.
Mr Dominique ‘s Heeren, founder of the Tradova group is also joining the TLW Group team as Head of Group Development.
‘I’m delighted that I can join a group in which I’ll be able to continue offering my experience and expertise, particularly because transport has always been my passion, and because Jérémy Windsinger and I are working towards the same goal, in other words standing up for top quality professional work. I hope that together we’ll carry out some great projects.’
By boosting its presence in a market that is constantly evolving, and after this year filled with obstacles and difficulties, this acquisition allows TLW Group to face the future with confidence, and to consolidate its position as a key road transport player in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and the Greater Region.
